It's a beautiful thing to have the freedom to run and explore. To dig in the dirt and collect nature's treasures. The opportunity to learn to care for the earth and it's many living things contributes greatly to a child's spritual growth.

I am grateful to be able to pull from the many resources that life provides, from the infinite possibilities that await us in the world of home schooling. Nurturing the whole child, mind body and spirit, and preparing them for a full and adventurous life, where they are always growing, and they never stop being students.

i found these pics from a few years ago. the children love to play store. we recyle containers and use this game as a way of learning math/readin/writing skills.

i bought these cardboard trucks at the craft store for the children to paint.

these are videos from last fall. the children do news reports all the time. they even make their own videos quite often, which i later discover while i'm loading my pictures onto the computer!

assata designed a onsie for her baby, sparkles. she drew a star pattern, and cut up a piece of hot pink fabric we found a thrift store.
